When we have the possibility to observe an action, a performance we can find this feeling that a primary experience has occurred, an experience that is more linked to the self and less to an organism, which in the same way is acted out over the own body beyond the pleasant and the unpleasant, to obtain an physiological and primitive attraction or an approach to the lived experience as a worthy emotive fragility. This substitution of emotional pain by the suffering of the artist is the re-signification of the experiences – it is the return to the original emotion.

The body is the self reference of the self and the personal narrative, which functions as demonstration before our eyes of the pain of the other, through the voluntary search for pain and tension the extreme subtle unperceivable register of affective levels.
