KUNSTFORUM MONTAFON 2010
In a closed down sanatorium, Christian rearranged the objects, playing with the notion of space.
The eye seems fixed, although the gaze is more restless and wanders around through the gallery of objects. Where his gaze stops and stays focused seems total coincidence. From time to time it clings to something and the object/motif shifts from the atmospheric-unclear out into the phenomenology of uniqueness.
The distribution of details seems arbitrary: the world seems to consist of randomness, details, and devoid of meaning. Beyond a sphere of personal identification with its existence, it has no relevance whatsoever. Eisenberger seizes the world in its contingency; every one of his accessories actualized in its concreteness could be replaced by any other, and re-descend into the diffuse.
